A few weeks ago I decided it would be great if I try out weightlifting..
I started with the lightest possible bar. It was impossibly difficult for me. I was on the edge of giving up but I did not want to lose without fighting for it or at least not putting some more effort and investing patience.
In three weeks the results started showing up. From saying “you need some time, Annie”, the coach told me one day “good job, girl”.
I was so excited! So, I stated getting what it is all about.
And here I am today from snatching 10 kilos, I do 25, from 15 kilos clean and jerk, I did 40 today 🙂
The idea of me keeping a journal of the workouts is to remember where I started and never forget that good things take longer 🙂
